im back yall. woo hoo.
to be honest ive had a computer since monday
[ended up having to just buy a new one. so having
to wait the two weeks to see if my fatherman could
fix it was sort of for naught. cest la vie am i right?]
..but yeah. anyways. i just wasnt ready to get back
into the whole blogging thing. im still sort of not.
as in i havent been taking pictures of my eats. but
truuuuuuust me. ive been eating. in excess. yum!
obviously not a complete representation of what
i have been eating for the past two and a half or
so weeks but here are a few photos from when i
first stopped blogging and didnt know how long
my hiatus would be. lots and lots more peanut
butter. frozen yogurt. ice cream. cookies. etc etc.
also. nutritional things. in moderation of course. ;]
anyways. tonight and tomorrow are going to worktastical.
plan on regularly scheduled blogging to resume sunday. ish.

[everything is fine..i just love the nineties.]
anyways. i really am torn though.
i dont know if i want saturday morning to get here right now.
or to never ever come. oy ve. my tummy is all sorts of jumbled.
the funny thing is i dont know why im so nerrrrrvous. i KNOW
i can run thirteenpointonemiles. and i sincerely just want to
run a halfmarathon. time is of no importance. quite puzzling.
anyways. food pictures are sooo much better than my rambles.
another splendid bowl of SOYMILK banana oats. topped with fone. zoes granola. pistachios. and more dried crans for good measure. and a cuppa joe. IM OUT OF COFFEE. which is sort of a good thing. because coffee before i run always gives me the poops [sorry] and i dont want to even be tempted to drink any on saturday morning. that bowl looks so tiny. i think its because that spoon is itty bitty so it throws off the proportions. moh well.
i always get my workout on after a bit of digestion on tuesday and thursday so it was weird to not today. but i obeyed my buddy hal.
besides..i had studying to do. [i slept and snack ALL DAY].
here we have my dear friend mister deconstructedturkeypita. i bronzed a pita pita in the toaster oven with lots of chilipowder and cumin and smoked paprika. mostly for the colors. and then chopped up some carrots and peppers. some turkey for protein and such. all dipped in a bbq/hummus bowl of divine. and half a HUGE apple with cinnamon. and little chunk of a butterfinger that i discovered and munched on last night. mmm. what a lovely little lunching experience i had.
then it was go time. dumb exam. theres always summer school..right?
i made it through classes without the need for a snack. but i was gettin sort of grumbly on my walk home so i munched on this guy so that i didnt absolutely obliterate my wee kitchen once i walked in the door. my plan quasi worked. who gnu?
i like to mix it up. so for dinner i had a salad since i NEVER eat salads. romaine. spinach. and then a mix of veggies and shrimp all cooked up in lime juice. chili powder. and hot sauce. i topped the salad with salsa and my lovely traderjoeschips and called it delicious.
insert drab college stuff here. buzzkill.
and since everyone loves my late night munches!
here we have the rest of my apple from lunch. some cheerios. more zoes granola. newmans own organics cinnamon sugar soy crisps. PEANUTBUTTER. and a hunka chocolate. [wait. theres no chocolate in this picture. well..there should be. it was a last minute add in and apparently this picture was taken prior. let your imagination run wild.]
obviously i went back for a bit more peanut butter. by the time i got to the chocolate the spoon had long been sucked dry and well..mister chocolate was horribly lonesome. im quite the matchmaker if i do say so myself.
and with that i must depart. toodles.

oh hey. whats up yall?
i have an exam tomorrow. and well. uh. its going to be interesting.
speaking of delicious late night snacks on tuesday!
and then i had the other half of the apple. eaten like this:
my peanut butter rationing plan was out the window before i could even open the jar. oops.
and since i gave up on rationing i munched on more traderjoes spicyflaxtortillachips. [and some chocolate.]
ive decided i just need to take a roadtrip to a destination with a trader joes. anyone jonesin for a visitor? ;]
i woke up this morning and knew breakfast had to be quick so i had a cottage cheese bowl. it had been so long!
classes today drug on to no end. buzzkill.
once i finally made it back to my apartment i decided to lace up for my last run before my half on saturday [FREAKOUT].
i obviously needed some serious fuel for my two miler so i had the last half of this baby.
it was so nice out and i wanted to keep running but i was a good little lamb and only ran the two and at a comfortable easy pace. go me.
i stretched out. showered. slothed. and then whipped up this great little diddie of a lunch.
i mixed up some tuna with the bbqsauce/hummus combo and some carrot nibs and pepper bits and shoved the whole smosh into a pepperbutt. with a bit of salad action [carrots. peps. kashi lovebites. more bbq/hummus. etc etc]. i had those grapes times a bunch. also shown: insideoutdirtyyellowsweater backdrop. mmmm. classy.
at this point i set out to do some serious studying..
and countless other nibbles.
is it to late to change my major to eating..with a concentration in peanut butter?
i sort of. quasi. maybe got a little bit accomplished but then i realized i was too famished to do anything else. no really. i hadnt eaten in like thirtysevenminutes.
for dinner i whipped up a scramble with corn. peppers. carrots. spinach. salsa. and hot sauce. oh. and eggies. postphoto i smushed half of the mixture into a pita. oh the side i had the last of my random plethora of fruit and some strawberries.
my fruit stash is quite low. a couple more stawberries. a few apples. and some bananas [ a few frozen. a few supah ripe..aka perfect]. tragedy.
i just finished up a superb late night snack!
SNACKBOWL! love. this little gem has some cheerios [ i want to be her.] newmans own organic cinnamon sugar soy crisps. some zoes cranberries currants granola. pistachios. more dried cranberries. and chocolate chunks.
lotsa flavor going on here. all so so good. as far the granola goes. well. its fabulous. but i think i like the cinnamon raisin a tid better. but id take either any day of the week.
the munchfest continues on. but the camera has retired for the night. use your imagination eh?
im off to study. and by study i mean go to bed. and by go to bed i mean stay up to an ungodly hour doing who knows what with lord knows who.
and my question tonight is for all yall runners out there. its gettin to be race time..

i dont speak french.
how are things my gruff billygoat friends?
so after i left you sunday i had the most DIVINE dessert.
but i didnt take a picture because it looked so nasty. haha.
anyways. i mashed up a frozen banana. some soymilk. the
other half of my erinbaker breakfast cookie. and LOTS of
peanutbutter. it was totally unreal. i ate lots of other stuff too.
yesterday morning i woke up and had to rush off to take care of some businessssss so i grabbed breakfast and off i went.
mmm. oatmeal raisin cookies for breakfast? yes please.
between a couple of classes i jolted off to the arc to get my four mile run in [tapering and such]. unfortunately i was pressed for time so i had to sprint the four miles [subthirtyminutes] and so i think i defeated the purpose of tapering?
yeah. im that sweaty girl in class. gross.
at least i had time to shower before work?
packed lunch for sure. i feel like this picture makes my salad look very small and my fruit look very big. either way it was all very good.
and well..i work at a cupcake bar. and we just started our new spring flavors yesterday. aka there was a lot of nibbling going on. the things i do for my customers right?
i may have also made myself a vanilla latte for my trek home. yum.
please note that i am wearing gloves. also note that i ran in shorts and a tank top on saturday.
dinner was a classic. but first..
i munched on a ton of grapes. i shouldnt buy grapes because i could easily eat the whole bag in like three opens of the refrigerator..if that makes any sense. [i wish i could invite you all into my head. things make so much more sense in there(here?).]
say it yesterdaywasyourbirthdaygirl! plus a mishmosh of veggies and black bean. and BBQ SAUCE.
i have a big ass exam on thursday so i tried to pretend to study for a bit but uh..
chocolate [thats not a whole bar..] kettle corn. zoes granola. LOTS of salt and cinnamon. munchcrunchlove.
interpret this as you will. [but lets just say im now down to four jars of peanut/nutbutter..or so i thought (foreshadowing much?).]
i probably ate more too. because its me.
i added soymilk to my oats for the first time ever this morning.
holy bagoly majoly. so good.
i tried to leave a wee gap in the toppings [which were fone. dried cranberries. and recalled nut of sorts.] so you could see how creamy the banana soymilk combo made them. no dice.
eventually i headed off to do some light crosstraining. just thirty on the arctrainer. i took it supah easy and just enjoyed my ‘what not to wear’. oh clinton kelly..you will be mine. oh yes. you will be mine. and by mine i just mean well shop together and talk smack about other people. swoon.
working out vigorously [!?] requires much refueling.
a salad of sorts. bbqsauce makes my world go round. so do: carrots. peppers. kashi lovebites. turkey. and colorful bowls of fruit..since my salad was sort of dichromatic. [not a word?]
AND THEN I CHECKED THE MAIL!
[at this point im speechless..ill let the pictures do the talking.]
chocolate times two. peanutbutter times at least six.
words cannot describe my friends. ah. and the jar count is back up to five! [well..four and a half at this point. oops. MUST RATION!]

the only thing that tore me away from that jar was class. bummer.
another win for team gnu. better than the banana id say but still no peanut butter.
my stomach has been on and off again wonky for the past couple of days so dinner is a little..awkward? i dont know man. it was just what sounded good. and i enjoyed it so that really all that matters.
these chips are from trader joes and are my loooove. in the past couple of nights ive eaten over half the bag. [MUST RATION.] i definitely went back for more chips and cottage. nom.
now i for real am going to study. seriously guys. really.

hola! happy second day of april.
lets head back to yesterday my little gremlins.
heres the swag i managed to make it home with.
each box had a big ole turkeysandwich. a delectable fruit box of sorts. and two cookies. like so:
i made it out with a full box and about two more boxes of fruit from the collected bits of my comrades. im no sarah but ill take it.
munch munch munch.
i kinda just hung out for a bit after my last post and then legit started to comtemplate a run.
then there was a knock at the door.
THE STRIPPERS ARE HERE!!!
nah. it was some schmuck asking for money for ‘the children’. i gave those damn kids a couple bucks because im a total pushover. dumb.
BUT!! he gave me candy:
anyways. after conman left i popped on my niks and was on my merry way. first i ate a chunk or two of a random probar ive already tasted and mentioned in posts prior. and a couple almonds. and dried cranberries. [dont judge. i needed fuel. ?]
fiftyminutes or so later i was back home. i called up my friend mapmyrun.com and he was all ‘hey babygirl. you just ran sixpointonefive miles. dizamn you are fiiiine.’
then i ate some more. because well. why not. plus i just ran six miles.
sweet potato chunks. black beans. broccoli. pepper rings. and a tasty little sauce of bbq sauce. rice wine vinegar to loosen it up. and some hot sauce for some zing! this was money.
at least im consistent? thank goodness my little zoefriends sent me the granola sampler [aka three flavors] rather than just one because this little lovebox is nearly gone and i am sad.
this is the newmans own organics dark espresso bar. or something. that sounds awkward. it was dark. and espressoed. and delicious. go buy. now. [man. im a GREAT advertising major. ;] ]
those popchips were pretty darn good. definitely satisfied my salty craving. and the bag was a wee one with one sixteen chips so going overboard wasnt an option. perfect. thanks to my poptastic friends for sending me some to munch on. :]
rumor has it there was a hummus party at one point too.
apple slices showed up early for the pregame and then we met up with that hottie carrot stick at the bars. afterhours? at the pretzel crib. fab night. [i need to get out more.]
so i thought i went the whole day without peanut butter. turns out LIFE played an april fools joke on me. that like wee chunk of probar i had prerun definitely had peanut butter..and i couldnt even taste it. SERIOUSLY!? ..my life.
so i had big plans to get creative with my oaties today but when i woke up classic banana oats with dried cranberries mixed in sounded so simple and good. corn bran and PEANUTBUTTER sounded good too. [but when dont they right?]
imma go out for a run now because its NOT raining here. [bahahahah. sorrylittle lo. love you?]
